Happy 25th!

Dearest you, Happy Birthday to you! 25 years, not so long, yet quite a journey you’ve got along. Just take a minute, to pat on your back because you are finally on the right track! You’ve come across many people, who made you feel alive, and a lost. Beyond anything, the memories, the love you’ve crossed, it’s difficult to comprehend the cost. You would be taken aback for the love and kindness you’ve showered upon, Move forward without hesitation and boundaries, release the power, come on! Remember, you are not alone, yet you are on your own. Show the world, that you are grown from the unknown! Forget those who came and faded away, hold on those who would really wanna stay. Let go off the grudges, the world is so small, Who would even have the time to recall at all? In the process of finding a perfect balance or a straight line, you would shine like fine wine. Follow your heart, don’t stress upon the right and wrong,  But the lesson you’ll learn will be really long. Uncage those tho...

A gentle reminder..

Dear you, How are you? Yes, I know you are not well. I know you are blank, confused, depressed and your heart and mind filled with void. Trust me, so do I. Can’t help to hold back my tears when thinking about the loved ones we’ve lost so far. I write this with deep grief and anguish that all we can do today is to stay calm, strong, pray and help as much as we can. We all started the new year with a positive note that yes, maybe the pandemic is near to the end.   Well, guess we celebrated too early. Despite several warnings we received around the globe, we chose to ignore it (Self-decision). It’s not late though, yes I mean it’s not too late though to still come back to the same place we were a year ago. Yes, it hurts to sit between the four pillars. Yes, it kills us to move away from our loved ones. Yes, we still can’t go back to our workplaces or our colleges. Yes, we have to resume our vacation plans we’ve made all these days. YES, YES YESS….. and YES, the pandemic has...

Thank you!

Dear Mahendra Singh Dhoni,                Struggling to digest the fact that you want us to consider that you are retired. Unable to imagine that I won’t be able to see you in the blue jersey and playing for the country. 15.08.2020, the 74 th  independence day, the day you chose to declare your decision of retirement. When the PM of the nation was addressing Atmanirbar, I didn’t expect you would leave the Indian team to be the same. Being a girl, I was always encountered with the question, “What do you know about cricket?”. I would proudly say, “Yes, I do.” I do because of you. A sport I started watching, admiring and astonished whenever you used to play. It all started with, “Oh, next is MS Dhoni to Mahiiii Sambhal Lenge.” The goosebumps I used to get when I see the no. 7 and chills when you return to your pavilion. Celebrated when you’ve won the trophies and tears on my pillow when you’ve lost. It was ...

The Broken heart 💔

Why does it hurt so much? Is it that, he was a good actor? Is it because of suicide that shakes us today? Was it a suicide or something else? We don't know but one thing we know is he is no more. First things first, he was a normal human being like us. A guy with emotions and feelings. Stardom, fame, status, money, education doesn't define you. Your feelings towards things define you and they are valid.       We are humans, we are not always positive. Trying to be positive in chaos is what we battle with. Yes, we are selfish . Yes, we feel jealous. The bigger you grow, the smaller your circles gets. Very few people truly feel happy for you. Don't lose them. A point we all miss is, not everyone pats your back always. Sometime they do and sometimes they don't. You should pat on your back. You should feel happy and proud for yourselves. One should develop self love and self care. Develop hobbies. Your hobbies are your se...

Be Kind to your Mind!

As we are in the Mental Health Awareness month, it is really important to take care of ourselves both physically and mentally. Mental health depends on many factors such as handling situations, family imbalance, peer-competition, societal pressure, trust issues and etc. Research says the people in our lives and around us impact on our behaviour also. We meet a lot of people with different personalities. Some makes us happy, sad, angry while some make us feel guilty for what we are by pointing out flaws. Your tribe decides your vibe. So, who are your tribe? Let’s see the common types of people we come across in our lives.                The Socializer a.k.a Extrovert – these people always take initiatives, makes friends easily, always ready to help others and are party poopers. They are optimistic but little dominant in nature. These try to cheer you up when you are low. The Home Alone a.k.a Introvert – these people have very few fri...

The Quarantined Mind!

Days passing by, we have no motive but to wait for the lock down to end. Today, we are talking that there used to be a time when we were rushing to work in the congested traffic, attending meetings, hanging out with friends, going out on weekends and prioritizing things has brought a new meaning for B.C i.e, Before Corona.                             Life is unpredictable – well yes, the perfect example of what we have been going through the past few days. Economic crisis, Recession in jobs, deaths, cancellation of travel is what we hear all day. Each one has a different story but today we all are part of one big story COVID-19 sharing the common emotion - quarantined between four walls, social – distancing and hoping for a tomorrow. What do we call this? World War 3? A Phase?   Or a Trauma?             Everyone’s doing their part and making the use o...

You're beautiful but so am I!

Waking up late on a Sunday morning around 11'o clock (actually call it afternoon according to your parents), as I sit on the sofa reading the articles in the Sunday Magazine. I ask my mom about today's breakfast. I hear a strident voice from the bedroom about "how unsuccessful I will become in the future, the seriousness that I lack , my attitude problem that I will face". My inner feeling after I hear all these lectures in the morning be like "I wish I had slept a bit more instead of listening to this Bhagavath Gita!" As I sit for lunch, parents start talking about the neighbour's daughter 10/10 GPA, colleague's son for cracking JEE All India 10th rank, my relatives children getting placed in top MNC's. Wow! I prove myself "USELESS" in front of my parents again .... Yayyy!!  I always used to ask this question to myself because I don't get the logic , "Why do most of the parents compare other children with their child...
