The Trapped Generation
Technology ruling us from morning to evening. Waking up to the alarm clock, checking Whats App, booking an Uber, ordering a sandwich from Swiggy, answering
the constant barrage of emails, tweets and text messages, paying your bills in the
afternoon, coming back and Netflix late night.
Where are you without the technology ? Think once..
Do you know there is something out there, who knows about
you more than yourself.....What you do? When you do? Where you go? What you wanna buy? ...… Who?
Google - The stalker you can't stop.
We are equally responsible for giving away our data in all
the places and being fearful for falling for a new scam or a phishing attack
and get confused how and why?
With technology all over the place, we aren't realizing how
much it's conquering our mind as it plays its game.
The stress we are going through. You know who used to read
our minds? Our parents. They used to know what we wanted and when we wanted. Now,
it’s the machine learning algorithm which we trained to the system. With the
help of the technology tracking down our shopping patterns, the e-commerce has put
its decision with the predatory pricing and the inventory controlling system.
Influencing you so much after you made a decision to say no but makes you feel
regret if you don't go back to it.
Technology being the master is one of the reasons for
causing depression among the latest generation.
Our happiness is being measured by the posts we put and see
on the social media. The stress we take of putting a snap and posting it when
we eat, go to a new place or doing something.
You may ask how? A person sharing a post of enjoying with a
group of people while a single person watching it and comparing it with their present
situation. The stress we take to update ourselves with the latest trends and
fit into the something that never existed.
Running after fake colors, fake posts, fake relationships, the technology has broken us down …. Sorry, we let the technology break us. We
let it rule and we became the slaves for it.
Just think…What were we before it, what are we now and where
do we stand in between them?
I do not fear the technology... I fear the lack of it.
Beautiful. So true
